The Daily Office

The practice of praying at a fixed hour of the day, often early in the morning or at bed-time, is a Christian practice that has it's roots in the Old Testament. "Seven times a day do I praise you" the Psalmist wrote. In our time many Christians have found it useful to pray at a set time of day using the words and language of the Psalms, the New Testament and the prayers of the Church. Included here is one such office, an act of praise and worship offered for your use on a daily basis. I hope this is a blessing.
